This article provides a detailed walkthrough for determining the number of records associated with specific types in Jira Data Center (DC). For Jira Cloud, click here.

Board

  1. Select 'View all boards' from the 'Boards' menu:

  2. Count the number of boards

  1. Open Jira Administration by selecting 'System' in the Settings menu:

  2. Search for the following types in the 'Search Jira admin' box, and count the number of records for each type:
    ​

    1. Automation rules

    1. Filters (count the number of shared filters - filters whose 'Shared with' value is not 'Private filter')

    2. Projects

    3. Screens

    4. Workflows (count the number of both active and inactive workflows)

    5. Schemes (Sum up the following Schemes to get the total count)

      1. Field Configuration Schemes

      2. Issue Security Schemes

      3. Issue Type Schemes

      4. Issue Type Screen Schemes

      5. Notification Schemes

      6. Permission Schemes

      7. Screen Schemes

      8. Workflow Schemes (count the number of both active and inactive schemes)
