If you want to calculate the number of records before signing up to Salto, ask someone from your Okta team to log in to your Okta Admin Console and follow these instructions:

Count Discrepancies

It's important to note that Salto excludes some elements by default, so the number of records calculated by Salto may be lower than your count.

  1. Navigate to 'Applications' by going through the left pane: Applications> Applications.

  2. Count the number of Applications under the Active and Inactive tabs

Groups and Group Rules

  1. Navigate to 'Groups' by going through the left pane: Directory > Groups.

  2. Under the All tab, count the number of groups.

  2. In the top menu, make sure the status is set to ‘All’; the total number of users will be displayed on the right.
