Salto for PagerDuty - Overview

Salto's PagerDuty adapter allows you to:

  • Fetch and deploy common PagerDuty configuration data, such as Event Orchestration Rules and Schedule Layers

  • Compare PagerDuty accounts

  • Monitor specific changes of interest, e.g., changes in Schedules and Services

  • Back Up & Restore PagerDuty configuration

  6. Event Orchestration (including Routing Rules)

Connect your PagerDuty account to Salto

In order to connect PagerDuty account to Salto:

  1. Obtain a PagerDuty REST API key. Salto supports both General Access Tokens and User Tokens; instruction how to create them could be found here: https://support.pagerduty.com/docs/api-access-keys#rest-api-keys

  2. Add a PagerDuty service to a Salto environment, by selecting the environment --> "Settings" --> "Application Connections" --> "Connect an Application".

  3. In application credentials, provide:

    1. Your PagerDuty Subdomain (e.g. ‘dev-salto’)

    2. The token you created in step 1
