Learn how to manage your Confluence configuration with Salto

Salto's Confluence adapter allows you to:

  • Fetch and deploy common Confluence configuration data, such as space configuration & templates

  • Deploy major configuration changes from Confluence Sandbox to your production environment

  • Compare Confluence environments

  • Document configuration changes such as template modifications

  • Monitor specific changes of interest, e.g., space permissions

Supported Types

  • Spaces

    • Including space settings and permissions

  • Pages

    • Include restrictions

    • Not including page content and attachments (we'll add it soon)

  • Blog Posts

  • Templates

    • Global Templates and Space Templates

    • Not including attachments

Connect your Confluence Cloud Instance

In order to connect Confluence Cloud to Salto:

  1. Add a Confluence service to a Salto environment, by selecting the environment --> "Settings" --> "Application Connections" --> "Connect an Application".

  2. In application credentials, provide:

    1. Your Atlassian Base URL (e.g. https://acme.atlassian.net/)

    2. The user email

    3. The token you created in step 1
