When will I see this deployment preview error?

This error occurs when you try to deploy an assignment rule that includes a predefined case team, as seen in the screenshot below:

Salesforce does not allow the deployment of such assignment rules, as documented in Help & Training.

How does this affect my deployment?

The selected assignment rule will be skipped, and the deletion will not be attempted.

How can I fix this error?

In the deployment preview screen, select the assignment rule in question and click the Edit icon

Once in edit mode, delete the team = <team name> line from the NaCl file and click the Update Plan button

This will deploy the assignment rule without the case team.

After you deploy the assignment rule to the target org, edit it manually and add the case team.
