When will I see this deployment preview error?

This error occurs when you are trying to deploy Account Settings and the source environment has Account Owner Report enabled, as seen in the below screenshot:

This setting is only available if the Organization-Wide Default (OWD) Setting of the Account object is set to Private.

If the OWD of the Account in the target environment is not set to Private, you cannot deploy the Account Owner Report setting, and you will see this deployment preview error.

How does this affect my deployment?

This error will prevent this change from being deployed; it will be skipped.

How can I fix this error?

Ensure that the OWD for the Account object is the same on both your source and target environments.
